Elk Refuge

This past saturday Adam and I went on a sleigh ride up at the Elk Refuge.  Although it was RAINING, it still was a lot of fun.  Here we are in the visitors center.  I wonder if we can do a world wide training for how to center a picture.  This lady who took our picture was really nice, but she kinda missed some of the important background.
Here we are freezing, but then we just got to sit closer : )!!!  Can you see the elk in the background?  They were actually a lot closer, but just like a moody teenager my camera only started working after the elk started moving away to bed down for the night.
My camera was working for this picture though.  I didnt have to zoom in or anything, they were that close!
The sleighs were pretty big, so we sat across from these two little girls in matching pink and purple snow suits!  They were so cute.  One of them told us, very seriously I might add, that you have to be nice to the momma elk, but you can shoot the daddy elk!!!  They were so cute.
