So every year ISU hosts a 5K ambush race involving scaling walls, crawling through small spaces, swimming through mud pits, sliding down giant slip and slides and several other very ambush-like things. So we felt just crazy enough to do it! :)
But first we had to make shirts, which we did at dinner one night… with a live band entertaining us! :)
Now for introductions (didn’t our shirts turn out really cute? :)) From L to R Emily, Rachel and Maddie
At the starting line.
Our first obstacle! We beat it! :)
Apparently long legs are no friends to these tubes. Everyone else whipped through here, but it took me forever! :)
We made it to the top! Pocatello is beautiful from this view!
Yay! We made it!
Awesome action shot at the bottom of the slip and slide! It was AWE SOME!
We’re almost done!
To end though, we had to swim through a mud pit! Surprisingly fun! :)
About to cross the finish line! (Thanks Heidi for being an awesome roommate and coming and taking pictures!)
We made it!
The final product, after being sprayed off! :)
SOOOOOO much fun! Grateful for the girls in my program already! :)
