Fall Travels!

This weekend I went to the happy little Utah Valley for my friend Caitlin's farewell.
The weekend had kind of a shaky start as I woke up on Friday super sick.  I ended up delaying my visit to Provo til Saturday, which was kind of a bummer because Dolly and I had a whole day planned on Friday and I had to miss it. : (   But other than that, the weekend was a good one.  I got to see some good friends and Melissa's family, which was fun.
Here are some of the pictures I took!
I took my roommate to SLC on the way down and as we drove through Salt Lake we found this BEAUTIFUL tree.  I feel like I need to buy one of those really fancy cameras because this picture does no justice to it.  But it was beautiful.  I love fall!!

The Olive Box!!!

For those of you who dont know, this is the box where Mom stored all of the family pictures.  Many childhood afternoons were spent dumping this box out and rifling through these pictures.
Rochelle let me take a few moments with it because she had transferred the pictures to a new waterproof box and she was going to throw it away.  I'm so glad she let me take pictures with it.  Lots of memories!

This is Caitlin!  She's awesome.  She reports tomorrow at the MTC.  Then this skinny little white girl from Provo, Utah will be headed to Los Angelos seeking the spanish speaking population.
Between you and me, I fear for her, but she'll be ok! : )

These are some of my Provo friends.  I miss them.

Oh and this happened earlier last week.  I thought I would prove I do go on dates sometimes, but who really needs to know what he looks like!!! : ) haha.  teaser.  just for you Doll

  3. Very fitting that you would take a photo of the photo box. May it rest in peace. My box growing up was a chicken nugget box!
